With over 30 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Professor Patrick Head has dedicated his life to training, evolving, and sharing the art with others. Beginning his journey in 1995, Patrick has been fortunate to train alongside some of the most respected practitioners in both the United States and Brazil. His approach to Jiu-Jitsu blends the timeless fundamentals of the art with modern techniques, always emphasizing functionality, precision, and efficiency.

Patrick was one of the original members of the renowned Texas Punishment Crew (TPC), training under the legendary Pat “Hawk” Hardy. His path later led him to California, where he sharpened his skills as part of the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Team, learning directly from icons like Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhães and Andre Galvão.

A 4th Degree Black Belt, Patrick’s credentials speak for themselves. He is an IBJJF Pan American Champion (2008) and a No-Gi World Bronze Medalist (2009). But beyond accolades, it’s his passion for the art and his students that defines him. His deep understanding of competitive strategy and technical detail makes him an invaluable guide for both hobbyists and serious competitors alike.
