Patrick Head
Professor Patrick Head is the Owner and Lead Jiu-Jitsu Professor at Triangle Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Nederland, Texas. With a journey spanning back to 1995, Patrick's passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has shaped his life and career in profound ways.
As one of the original members of the Texas Punishment Crew (TPC) under the mentorship of Pat "Hawk" Hardy, Patrick's dedication to the art earned him recognition and respect within the martial arts community. His journey took him to Pleasant Hills, California, where he joined the esteemed Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Team and further honed his skills under the guidance of legends such as Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhaes and Andre Galvao.
Patrick's commitment to excellence is reflected in his achievements, including attaining the rank of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt 4th Degree. His competitive spirit led him to victory at the IBJJF 2008 Pan American Championship and earned him a bronze medal at the 2009 IBJJF No-Gi World Championships.
At Triangle Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Professor Patrick Head leads by example, instilling his students with not just technical prowess but also a deep understanding of the art and its principles. He takes pride in his role as a natural leader and dynamic instructor, ensuring that everyone who walks through the academy's doors, regardless of skill level, becomes engaged and proficient in the sport.
